Satan, Get Out

May 17, 2025

The enemy does not want us to call his schemes as they are. So, let’s! Satan, you are weak. You are small. You hold no power over me. I declare you and your demons out! Defeated! Get outta here! You thought you have power over me, my sister, my brother, mom, dad, friends the people I love, … you don’t!!

Let’s start calling it for what it is. The devil hates when we shed light on him, pulling the curtains back to reveal him tampering with the ropes of our glorious lives. Let’s pull the curtains.

Anxiety. Depression. Loneliness. Laziness. Lust. Pride. Self-Righteousness. Anger. Bitterness. Doubt. Comparison.

These are all of your schemes, your tactics, Satan. The spirits of these have NO. POWER. I declare them OUT.

Jesus, enter! Overflow our hearts, minds, spirit, with your Fruit, the Fruit of the Spirit! Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Fill our hearts and more, so that we may be fully cleansed from the schemes of the devil, and so that we can pour out into the people we encounter here on Earth. Thank you for the power we have through the Holy Spirit to say, devil, you are defeated! No more of this! You. Do. Not. Belong. You are not welcome. I am closing the door on you, and sealing it shut. GET. OUT.

Lord, I pray and speak this over the people on this Earth. Every single person. Your sons and daughters. Your loved ones. Thank you.

Finally, we will be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. We will put on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore we take up the whole armour of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand firm. We stand, therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for our feet, having put on the readiness given to us by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, we take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. And we take the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keeping alert with all perseverance, making supplication for the saints, and also for us, that words may be given to us in opening our mouths boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which we are ambassadors in chains, that we may declare it boldly, as we ought to speak.

(From the passage of Ephesians 6, The Whole Armour of God)

Amen. Let us be encouraged by the ultimate power and authority we have with the Holy Spirit within us that takes victory over the schemes of the devil in our everyday lives.
